TROPICAL PLANTS

The Tropical Reserve is designed to recreate the natural habitat of their hosts: crocodiles, turtles and tortoises, snakes, fish and birds. They host more than 600 types of plants, often belonging to rare and surprising species. This great flora enables us to raise public awareness about global biodiversity of ecosystems.

Naturally, tropical plants show little resistance to cold temperature. They usually start suffering below 15°C. Therefore, our greenhouse is always maintained around 25°C and strictly monitored to allow to offer our plants and trees optimal development conditions. During your visit you can discover a few remarkable plants species such as Aristolochia vines, Bougainvillea, Ylang Ylang or the Saint Jean’s vine.
